Infrastructure

Our state-of-the-art factory, which consists of hi-tech imported machines for knitting, dyeing, printing, compacting, washing, cutting and sewing enables us to achieve international standards.

Our journey as an integrated knitwear solutions provider has been made possible by our meticulous and sustained growth initiatives. Our spectrum of activities ranges from knitting to packing of an exhaustive variety of apparel and has helped us grow from strength to strength. Scalability of operations is one of our singular strong points, allowing us to cater to both small and high-volume demands. Currently, we are equipped to handle a production demand of 500,000 garments per month.

We have independent units for different process and all our facilities are located in a single campus. Apart from giving us complete control over each activity, our vertically integrated facility also allows us to set our own standards of excellence.

Knitting

From yarn to apparel, ours is journey that integrates multiple activities to achieve a perfect whole. The first of our facilities is the state-of-the-art knitting unit comprising jersey, rib, auto stripes and collar knitting machines. All of the equipment is sourced from global brands and includes a variety of knitting machines with scalability options. The knitting unit has a daily capacity of 5000 kgs per day.

  • 14gg Stoll collar knitting machines.
  • 16gg Kauo Heng collar knitting machines.
  • Longxing jacquard collar knitting machines

Dyeing & Processing

We have a balanced combination of high capacity as well as low-capacity dyeing machines to serve the variable needs. Our fabric dyeing unit has a capacity to dye and finish 5000 kgs per day. An advanced Datacolor system along with a Macbeth colour matching cabinet makes it possible for us to meet accurate shades of the global brands we supply to. A well-equipped dyeing laboratory with qualified resource personnel pushes the creative parameters in colour, enabling us to create stunning contrasts.

Our processing division takes on the task of ensuring the knit and dyed fabric is future ready. We have imported padding, drying, compacting and garment washing machines to ensure that our processed fabric meets international standards.

Printing

Knitwear has broken the confines of traditional apparel, with advanced printing techniques and innumerable possibilities, we have been able to design new fashion statements with our printing equipment.

Cutting

Perfection in cut fabric is crucial to minimise material waste and maximise production capabilities. Using the latest in CAD, automatic spreaders and band knife cutting machines, we ensure that accuracy is consistenly maintained.

Sewing

Putting together differenet creations of beauty is both art and science. At Balu Exports, the sewing division comprises 900 state-of-the-art sewing machines, making it possible for us to cater to an ever growing demand for men's, ladies and kids wear.

Checking

A meticulous checking system overseen by trained personal ensures complete attention to details. In addition to effecting globally accpeted sampling techniques, we have also evolved our own checking methods with proven success.

Ironing

This unit is well equipped with a completely automated ironing line and manned by a team of well-trained people.

Packing and Shipping

Depending on which part of the world we are exporting to, the packing and shipping of consignments are coordinated by a dedicated team, All Products are packed in compliance to CTPAT standards (Customs Trade Partnership against Terrorism).
